Crowded is a speculative fiction magazine that gives authors and subscribers a say in the stories we publish.

For readers

We aim to give you the best reading experience we can by combining great stories with stunning artwork and excellent design.

This is not another story blog. We publish up to 50,000 words and six original artworks three times a year in iOS app and PDF formats.

And if you subscribe you gain access to our open submission system where you can read, rate and comment on stories for future issues.

For Writers

We publish speculative fiction (science fiction, fantasy and horror or any combination thereof). Guidelines

We pay pro rates (that is 5 cents per word Australian (note this is currently slightly more than 5c p/w US but that could change at any time)). See what we want for our money here.

And if you submit a story you gain access to our submission system where you can read, rate and comment on stories for future issues.
